Essaouira is a UNESCO World Heritage-listed city known for its whitewashed houses, blue shutters, fortified walls, and laid-back atmosphere. On arrival, enjoy free time or a guided visit to explore the medina, with its artisan shops, souks, and art galleries.
Visit the Skala de la Kasbah, the seafront ramparts offering fantastic views over the Atlantic Ocean and the fishing port filled with blue boats.
You’ll have time to enjoy a freshly grilled seafood lunch (not included) at one of the local restaurants near the port. Later, stroll along the beach or walk along the old walls and bastions.
On the road between Marrakech and Essaouira, you’ll also pass argan oil cooperatives, where you can see how the oil is produced and support local women’s cooperatives by purchasing natural cosmetic and culinary products.
